Cold weather, with many temperatures only five or six above zero, will prevail in the skiing country in New England this weekend, according to the report issued last night by the Boston and Maine Railroad skiing service.
Bartlett, N. H.: snow good. Ten inches with a breakable crust.
Cannon Mt., N. H.: snow fair with a breakable crust over nine inches.
Dartmouth Region, N. H.: good snow of nine inches with an unbreakable crust.
Franconia Notch, N. H.: good snow of four inches. Powder on trails.
Jackson, N. H.: good snow of thirteen inches. Breakable crust.
North Conway, N. H.: good snow of eight inches with a breakable crust.
Pinkham Notch, N. H.: good snow of twenty-seven inches. Drifted powder.
Plymouth, N. H.: fair snow of nine inches. Unbreakable crust.
Stowe, Vt.: good snow of forty-five inches with four inches of powder.
Tamworth Region, N. H.: good snow of seventeen inches. Two new inches of snow over a breakable crust.
Waterville Valley, N. H.: good snow of sixteen inches. Four new inches over an old base.
Woodstock, Vt.: fair snow of eleven inches with a light breakable crust.
