WHAT'S HIS NUMBER?

Heckel for Keyes At Shortstop?

Bob Gannett returned to the lineup Saturday against Holy Cross and collected three hits in addition to playing a nice game afield. His return makes the Crimson well fortified in the outer gardens and may eventually and Sophomore Gone Levett to the sidelines. Fred Hockel played in Keyes place at shortstop throughout most of the Holy Cross game after Art Johns was driven off the mound back to his regular post at the keystone sack. "Snake" Keyes has been struggling with a rest batting slump which has found his average dipping down around 100 for the 11 contests he has played in. Heckel's fielding seems to stack up favorably with the "Snake's," and he should outhit him by quite a few percentiage points
