Telkes Tells of Hungarian Artistic, Musical Rebirth

Says Loss of Land Caused Nationalism: Hopes Return of Territory

Hungary has enjoyed an artistic and musical rebirth resulting from the wave of nationalism which swept her after the war, Dr. laszle Telkes, director of the Hungarian Reference Library, New York, said yesterday in a lecture on "A Thousand Years of Hungarian Culture" in the Institute of Geographical Exploration.

Present Hungarian nationalism was caused by the less of her land after the war. Telkes explained, "I hope that Hungary will regain all of the territory she lost, but how or when, I don't know," he said in an interview before the lecture. He refused to comment on the present Hungarian invasion of Slovakis.
