BERLIN--The semi-official organ of the German Foreign Office restated Germany's colonial claims today, using Great Britain's mounting armaments appropriation, announced yesterday, as a spring board for the new demand.
The organ, "Diplomatisch Politische Korrespondenz," said that with security coming from armed strength, Britain no longer need refuse justice to the "vital interests of other nations."
Attempts to "force the retreat of justice before power," it warned, "will only delay and complicate" but never prevent the solution of world problems.
