To the appeal by the Greater Boston Community Fund campaign Harvard has responded to the tune of $26,000 according to Stanley C. Salmen, assistant to Jerome D. Greene, secretary of the Corporation and chairman of the University drive.
It has contributed 73 per cent above its quota of $15,000, but the 2705 subscribers do not include members of the Faculty or Administrative staffs in the University, Medical or Dental Schools which together donated a total of $27,500.
