The strike continued relatively peaceful, especially in Boston, where Supt. of Police Edward W. Fallon said that no cases of violence by men identified as strikers had been reported to police. The only arrests in the day were in Melrose, where five men were taken on charges of assaulting a truckman bound from Maine to Boston with a load of milk. The Boston Globe.
