Robert Clurman '41, has been chosen winner of the Fifth National College Short Story Contest conducted by "Story" Magazine and will receive $100. His story was entitled "The Raincoat" and is a psychological fiction.
Over 200 Universities submitted two stories for the contest. The Harvard judges were Messrs. Kempton, Baker, and Morrison. The Harvard contest was conducted by the Advocate.
The other Harvard entry. "The Case of Timothy Barrett" by James Higgins '33 was awarded a place on the roll of house.
