The class of 1913 will today celebrate the annual Class Day exercises of the graduating Seniors. At 9 o'clock they will assemble in front of Holworthy to march to Appleton Chapel. There Professor George Herbert Palmer '64 will conduct prayers. The service will last an hour and will be open only to Seniors.
At 11 o'clock will come the Sanders Theatre exercises, to which the Seniors will also march in a body. Prayer will be offered by Professor E. C. Moore, and the oration by Daniel Sargent, the poem by Amos Philip McMahon, and the ode by William Roger Burlingame will be delivered.
At 2 o'clock the Yard will be closed to all but ticket holders, and at 4:30 o'clock the Stadium exercises with singing by the Glee Club, the Ivy Oration by Paul Merrick Hollister, and the confetti battle will be held.
The Glee Club will sing on the steps of Sever for about an hour at 9 o'clock.
Seniors will wear caps and gowns all day. The programs for both pleasant and rainy weather are printed below.
Program of Exercises
9:00--The Senior Class will assemble in front of Holworthy and march to Appleton Chapel, where prayer will be offered by Professor George Herbert Palmer '64.
10:15--Sanders Theatre will be open to ticket holders.
10:45--The Senior Class will assemble in front of Holworthy and march to Sanders Theatre.
10:55--Sanders Theatre will be closed to all but Seniors.
2:00--The Yard will be cleared and tickets will be required of all persons found in the Yard, and those who enter thereafter.
2:00 to 11:00--Music in Yard.
3:30--Seniors assemble in front of Holworthy.
3:45--Graduates, the three lower classes, and the Glee Club assemble in the Yard.
4:15--Graduates, the three lower classes, and the Glee Club march to the Stadium. Seniors, led by class officers, march around the Yard, cheering the buildings and the Tree.
