Displaying a dynamic knowledge of baccarat and the higher nuances of poker, the Crimson motor yachtsmen whiled their way to victory over the Mystic launches on the difficult mile course of the Charles yesterday.
It was a high test of ability, as was shown when the Harvard boat went ashore, and had to be dragged into the river by a wrecker.
At the prow and prow finish, the winning skipper staggered ashore with a victorious grin on his face, mumbling, "it wash shwell," and staggered to the planks exhausted.
