As the State Labor Relations Board weighs A. F. of L. charges that a company union has been sponsored here, the integrity of both the University and Building Service local 30 faces a crucial test today.

One or the other must succumb after the committee passes judgement at a hearing at 10 o'clock this morning. If the board refuses to accept the union's evidence that intimidations and coercion have been used to discourage membership in its organization, then the power of the international union is definitely broken.

On the other hand, should the board find a possibility of unfair labor practice at Harvard, a swarm of State investigators will descend on College grounds to uncover the true story of the so-called "inside" union.

Robert H. Everitt, A. F. of L. organizer, told the CRIMSON last night: "We'll know for sure tomorrow if there will be an investigation or whether we can settle this question in a friendly fashion."

He said that he had waited for ten days but had received no offer from the University to arbitrate the dispute between the rival unions.
