Talented Freshman entertainers will be given an opportunity to demonstrate their skill next Sunday night when the '41 Union Committee will sponsor a Yardling Amateur Hour, it was announced last night by Langdon P. Marvin, Chairman of the Committee.
Three judges chosen from the Faculty will determine the presentation of prizes. The prizes will all be in cash and will be awarded as follows: first prize, $7.50; second prize, $5.00; and a third prize of $3.00.
Any Freshman who can sing, play a musical instrument, do magician's tricks, tell stories, or do anything that comes under the head of amateur entertainment is free to enter the contest. All entries should be made on the notice posted at the Union.
