With the focus shifted from the college to the graduate schools, the drive to raise $10,000 for the aid of German student refugees appeared headed for success last night. Enthusiastic support from the Law School has put the campaign within $3000 of its goal.

As the drive continued in high gear, John F. Pritchard, Law School chairman, announced that $925 in cash and $160 additional in pledges has been collected so far. Nearly $4500 is still expected.

Generosity also characterized the donations from the medical school. Over $300 has already been collected, and a committee headed by John Peters predicts that $2000 will yet come in. Proportionate amounts have been reported from all units of the university.

Final reports from the Houses show contributions of nearly $2000. Lowell ended up in the lead, with Dunster in second place. The Freshmen have so far given over $300.
