STUDENTS AGAIN CONFUSED BY TIME AS CLOCKS ARE STOPPED

A week ago Sunday, students who had missed Governor Hurley's proclamation continuing Daylight Saving Time, spent most of the sabbath attempting to adjust themselves and their timepieces.

Intent on avoiding a repetition of last week's disturbance, many turned back their watches before retiring Saturday night. Likewise cautious, the power companies shut off the electricity at 5.30 o'clock yesterday morning.

Some clocks stopped for good; others with automatic starters, began an hour later. Although no complaints were voiced that the shut-off impeded late studying, many missed morning breakfast.
