LOWELL, ADAMS ON TOP IN HOUSE GRID GAMES

Bellboys Down Bunnies 13-6 as Coasters Beat Dunster, and Hang Onto Fourth Place in League Standings

Thirteen was a lucky number for two House gird teams, Lowell and Adams, yesterday afternoon, when the Bellboys topped Leverett 13-6 for their third victory and the Coasters took the Pioneers over the bumps 13-0 maintain their fourth-place position.

For the first time this year, Lowell began scoring early by taking the Leverett opening kickoff from its own 40 and working the ball right down the field on eight plays for a score. Tiger Conroy, fleet Bellboy back, registered the touchdown on a ten yard spinner over center.

Leverett tallied in the closing stages of the first half after Vint Frealley's passing had brought the Bunnies deep into Lowell territory. The winning Lowell touchdown came in the third period when Mel Gordon climaxed another 60-yard drive by going over on a tackle smash. Dick Lewis starred for Lowell as a blocking back.

Adams Passes Win

The Whitman to Akerson passing combination held a successful battery practice at Dunster's expense, resulting in two touchdowns in the Coasters' 13-0 win. Jack Lucey, Adams captain, kicked the extra point. Shorman Maisel, husky Adams guard, set up the second touchdown when he broke through and intercepted a Funster pass. Johnny Eaton played a bang-up game at tackle.

Handicapped by the absence of Red Bailey and several key linesmen, Dunster lacked scoring punch, despite Dave Nussbaum's punting and Harwood's passing. Jack Barr made one spectacular end run
