THE MAIL

To the Editor of the Crimson:

May I correct a statement in Thursday morning's Crimson to the effect that Professor Harold J. Laski left Harvard under pressure following the Sacco-Vanzetti case? Laski was called to London in 1920, some time before the Sacco-Vanzetti case reached the headlines. Such "pressure" as may have hastened his departure was a result of his activities in the Boston police strike, in the autumn of 1919.
