Helsinki University of Finland's chorus of 54 voices gives a concert in Sanders Theatre Friday evening at 8:30 o'clock. It is sponsored by the Division of Music here and was made possible through the generosity of Mrs. Elizabeth Sprague Coolidge.

The chorus arrived in this country December 24 and has given four concerts, two with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, in its first American tour.

It was founded in 1883 with the purpose of the development of Finnish choral music, and is composed of students from the university and other institutions of Helsinki who contribute their services without compensation.

From there all-Finnish repertoire the chorus will sing here works by the composers Sibelius, Genetz, Kajanus, Jarnfelt, Haapalainen, Tornudd, Pesola, Turunen, Madetoja, Maasaio, Kuula, and Palmgren.
