Winding up the House social season, the Dunster and Winthrop House spring dance promises a strenuous week-end of amusement-seeking.

Winthrop's "Spring Cleaning"

The Winthrop affair is planned as a farewell to college days by the seniors. The spring cleaning motive will be reflected in mops, vacuum cleaners and the like an decorations. Ash-barrels full of the accumulated debris of three years studying, such as old lecture notes and senior theses, are to represent the class of 1937's feelings on the occasion.

A buffet supper will be served at 8 o'clock, followed by dancing to the music of the Hudson-Do Lange orchestra. Sidney Cobb '38 heads the committee in charge of the dance and serving with him are Alden Clarke '39, John H. Cunningham, Jr. '39, Huntington S. Gruening '38, and Theodore P. Robie '38.

The dance is limited to 150 couples and tickets are $3.00 per couple and $1.50 stag.

Dunster's Costume Dance

Tomorrow night Dunster stages its traditional costume party and dance. The dining-hall will be decked out with ballons and Japanese lanterns, and the music is to be provided by Frank McGinley's orchestra.

The festivities start at 10 o'clock, the evening reaching a climax with a moonlight boat ride on the Charles if there's a moon. Anyway sightseeing boats from the Basin will be on hand at an impromptu landing near the House to take those who want to for a cooler on, the river.

Tickets are $2.50 per couple and $2.00 stag.
