LECTURE BROADCASTS DURING MAY ANNOUNCED

Baxter Scheduled to Talk on 1914-17 Neutrality Next Tuesday; Glee Club Booked Twice

Nine classroom lectures and concerts are to be broadcast by the short wave station W1XAL during the month of May, according to the schedule released yesterday.

W1XAL is a non-commercial short-wave station in Boston and is devoted entirely to educational programs. The plan of broadcasting Harvard lectures was first adopted in February.

Included among the programs for May are speeches by James P. Baxter, professor of American History, and Albert E. Hindmarsh, instructor in Government, two concerts by the Glee Club and two organ recitals by Archibald T. Davison '05.

Professor Baxter will deal with the subject of American neutrality during the World War and will be given over the station next Tuesday evening at 9 o'clock. "The Political System of Japan" will be Mr. Hindmarsh's subject.
