Taking heed of this warning posted before his fire escape rope, a timid Yardling, who had been unduely impressed by the Hollis fire, discovered yesterday that there was no "ample equipment" available.
However, the matter will be taken up with the Maintenance Department, who should furnish the rope within the next week if characteristic efficiency prevails.
