Polo Team Loses

Despite the sensational efforts of Captain Townie Winmill the Crimson malletmen went down to defeat Saturday at the hands of the Metropolitan All-Stars of Chicago 13-8. Trailing throughout the game the team was handicapped by riding strange ponies.

Paced by Lt. Bill Fergus, who scored seven goals, the All-Stars fought off every attempt of the team to overtake them. A crowd of 12,000 was dazzled by the brilliant efforts of Winmill, Von Stade and Ayer which brought them within one point of the Metropolitans in the third chukker.
