Varsity Grapplers Meet Princeton Here Today

In the foremost meet on the home wrestling schedule, the powerful Crimson Varsity team will engage an undefeated Princeton outfit in the Indoor Athletic Building at 3 o'clock this afternoon.

Headlining the series of promising matches will be the heavyweight clash between Hill Glendinning of Harvard and Charba Toll of the Tigers. Glendinning will give away approximately 40 pounds to his rival who has been famous for two years for his tackle play on the Princeton football team. Toll is 6 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 230 pounds and already this season has a victory to his credit over Captain Joe Dowd of Penn State, considered one of the foremost heavyweight, wrestlers in intercollegiate ranks. Glendinnning has been unbeaten in two years of Varsity competition for the Crimson. He weighs 190 pounds and is 5 feet 11 inches tall.

The Crimson's chances of victory may depend upon the success of its entries in the 118 and 126-pound classes. Pat Johnson, Varsity coach, will start Harvey Ross who was unbeaten as a Freshman and is unbeaten this year against Addison Y. Foshay of the Tigers in the 118-pound class and Louis Ach against Richard B. Harding in the 126-pound class.

The other Varsity wrestlers who will compete are Dick Lindenfelser in the 136-pound class, Bill Cavin in the 146-pound class, Lorrin Woodman in the 156-pound class, William Gosun in the 165-pound class, and John Harkness in the 175-pound class.
