With only four more days of play remaining in the House Indoor Baseball League, the Dunster team has a two point lead in the race. Adams and Lowell are deadlocked for the runner-up position, while Dudley is only one point back of them.
Today Dunster and Adams square off in the cage in the feature encounter of the day. If the Funsters are able to take the measure of the Goldcoasters, they are assured of at least a tie for the championship. The Dunster lineup so far has been as follows: Lipsitt, c.; Kinnicutt, p.; Woodward, 1b.; McDonald, 2b.; Merrill, 3b.; Ayres, s.s.; Noyes, s.f.; Philbrick, l.f.; Doughty, r.f.; and Fels, e.f., Clapp and McCarty have seen action as substitutes.
The indoor baseball standing so far:
Adame Class of Basketeers
In the House basketball competition, Adams House, defending titleholders, shape up as the class of the league. In their first game the Goldcoasters edged Kirkland's speedy quintet, while is their second they trounced what looked like a powerful Leverett five by a score of 32 to 11.
"Flash" Gordon and George Clark have been high-scoring at the forward positions, and Roger Pierce and Max Manker have held down the guard berths capably. Harold Curtiss has shown himself a capable pass feeder from his center spot. William Calfee, Hamlin Williston, Harris Squibb, and Eric Witherby have also played in the two Adams games so far.
Swimming, Squash
Each House has engaged in one swimming meet so far, and Eliot, Kirkland, and Winthrop have showed most aquatic ability. Lowell also displayed a well rounded aggregation, although it was defeated by the Puritans.
