Adams, Dudley Write Finis To '37 House Season Today

Adams and Dudley square off on Soldiers Field this afternoon in the final game of the 1937 House season. Only second division changes in the standing are at stake, however, since neither the Goldcoasters nor the Commuters can rise above sixth place by winning.

With a record of five wins, one tie, and one defeat, Kirkland won the title for the second straight year. Only Winthrop was able to pin a defeat on Bernie White's Deacons, and even that came after the title was clinched. Lowell House managed to tie last year's champions early in the season.

Eliot and Winthrop finished the season deadlocked for second place, the Elephants with five wins and two defeats and the Rabbits and the Bellboys and the Puritans with four wins, two ties, and one loss. The Rabbits and the Bellboys also found themselves tied at the close of hostilities.

The standings: Kirkland  5  1  1  11 Eliot  5  2  0  10 Winthrop  4  1  2  10 Leverett  4  2  1  10 Lowell  4  2  1  9 *Adams  1  4  1  3 *Dudley  1  5  0  2 Dunster  0  7  0  0 *One more game to play
