FOGG PRINTS WILL NOT BE LOANED THIS YEAR

Collection From Which Prints Usually Had Been Obtained Is Now No Longer Available

Breaking a tradition that has been established for several years past, the Fogg Museum of Art will not make its customary loans of prints to students desiring them this year, it was revealed yesterday.

During the past two years, more than 400 prints each year have been lent to students for decorating their rooms, but this year the practice has been discontinued because the collection of prints from which the loans were made will not be available for this purpose.

Officials at the Fogg Museum regretted that it had become necessary to stop this popular service, but it appears that there is no chance that it will be able to do it during the current year.
