"Copey" Reads Kipling, Bible to Fifty Hearers at Union

Arrives in Care of Ample Bodyguard to Address Capacity Audience

When "Copey" reads, the Bible draws an enthusiastic audience. A maximum quota of fifty hearers was easily filled last night at the Union as "Copey," who recently celebrated his 76th birthday, sallied forth once more from the seclusion of 5 Concord Avenue to entertain his first love, the Freshman class.

In the care of an ample bodyguard "Copey" arrived on time to find a waiting capacity audience, carefully adjusted the light, as is his custom. Read Kipling's "The Sergeaui and the Pharaoh," extracts from the Book of the Ruth, and the story of the Prodigal Son.
