Results in the House basketball league yesterday afternoon were as follows: Lowell 21, Kirkland 9; Eliot 17, Dudley 12; Adams 11, Winthrop 6; and Dunster defaulted to Leverett.
The Lowell-Kirkland game was marked by sloppy playing by both teams. The Elephant cagers displayed a new power in their victory over the Dudley quintet, their team work clicking better than it has all year. Winthrop was badly outclassed in their game with the Gold Coasters, champions for the first half year. Dunster's default, it is believed, was largely influenced by the defeat they suffered at the hands of the Commuters in their debut on the courts last Tuesday.
