Although handicapped by playing on a small floor, the Yearling basketball team scored a 35-26 victory over St. George's School at Newport Saturday afternoon. Taking the lead early in the first period, the Crimson held it throughout the game.
Vin Horrigan and Dick Grondahl both played a good game for Harvard, totaling ten and nine points respectively. Captain Jones of St. George's was high point man with eleven points.
Harvard's J. V. basketball team made the most of a lead piled up in the first half to defeat Bridgewater Teacher's College Saturday 17-12. Leading at the half 11-4, the Crimson adopted a defensive game in the second period and succeeded in holding their advantage.
