Hudson, DeLange Will Jazz Puritans

Music by the famous combination of Will Hudson and Eddy DeLange will be the feature attraction at the Winthrop House Winter Dance, to be held on Friday, Feb. 21 from 10 to 3 o'clock.

Hudson and De Lange, leaders of a New York orchestra now on tour of New England colleges, are nationally famous as the composers of such well known hits as "Moonglow", "Solitude", "Haunting ME," and "Jazznocracy". All the arrangements for the featured songs in the very successful recent musical, "Broadway Melody of 1936", were Hudson's. The Hudson-DeLange outfit contains 14 artists, including a blues singer.

Members of the dance committee are Chester W. MacArthur '37, Chairman, Frank G. Jewett, Jr. '37, Verner E. Kelly '37, and Joseph B. Kennedy '38.

Acting as ushers will be the following: John Derman '36, Head Usher, Walter L. Crampton '36, Peter Ward '36. Thomas G. Curtis '36, Thomas H. Bilodeau '37, George G. Hedblom '37, C. Russell Allen '33, and Philip T. Shaban '38.
