To the Editor of the CRIMSON:

In reference to the criticism stated in the Crime column of the CRIMSON, the maids of the Eliot House have nothing, whatsoever, to do with the cleaning of the Grill Room.

Since the incident has been brought to light why not tell the true conditions of the House?

The students have been complaining since they came to the Eliot in September about the dirt in general.

Why not put the blame on the right parties and leave the maids out of the situation?

It is up to the Janitor and his six helpers to keep the building clean.
