N.H. DEFEATS HARVARD IN TRI CROSS COUNTRY

Dartmouth in Third spot-Yardlings Defeat New Hampshire, Dartmouth by Ten-Point Margin

Now Hampshire took the measure of the Harvard and Dartmouth Harriers in the Triangular cross country Moot yesterday afternoon by the score of 37 to Harvard's 47 and the Green's 52. At the same time the Crimson Freshmen won out 31 to 41 for Dartmouth and 50 for New Hampshire.

Stow Whitman of Dartmouth was the first man home followed by George Quinn of New Hampshire and Jim Wallace of the Hanoverians. Henry Marcy was the first Harvard harrier to finish taking fifth spot. He was followed by Hayden Channing in ninth, Roswell Brayton in tenth, BBI Wright in eleventh, Charley Worth in twelfth, and John Erhard in thirteenth.

Hawked and Wonson of Dartmouth were the first man home in the Freshman race, while A.T. Throne, W.P. Tuttle, J.D. Light body, E.V. Clark, and F.L. Porter in third, fourth, sixth, eight, and tenth positions brought the victory for the Mikkola younger set.

The variety time was 32 minutes and 1 second, the Freshmen 12:22.
