Today at 4:30 o'clock all men interested in dramatics will be welcomed at an open house meeting of the Dramatic Club at the Big Tree Swimming Pool, next to the Hygiene Office.
Officers of the Club will be present to explain the work of the organization. Opportunities are open for all those interested in acting, production, staging, or any other phase of dramatic work. Refreshments will be served until 6 o'clock.
The H.D.C. puts on three major productions yearly. Feminine parts in these are filled by a series of competitions, opened only upon invitation to girls in Boston or environs with experience.
The Club's record in the matter of being banned is remarkable; a production has not been stopped since 1920 when "Fiesta" under Frederick C. Packard '20, assistant professor of Public Speaking, was closed by personal order of Mayor Nichols.
