ROGER CUTLER PUT IN AS STROKE IN J.V. SHELL

BROTHERS NOW STROKE BOTH J.V. AND VARSITY CREWS

Still seeking the most satisfactory combination for his second Varsity eight, Coach Charlie Whiteside yesterday picked Roger Cutler, Sophomore brother of Bobbie Cutler, who is now stroking the first boat, to set the pace for the Jayvees, thereby entrusting the two key positions on the Varsity squad to members of the same family. Roger Cutler was brought from number two on the Jayvees to the stroke position and replaces Ced Francis, who, returned to the third boat. Roosevelt was pushed up from the number four sweep in the second boat to take Cutler's place and Oliver Scott was brought from the thirds to fill the vacancy Roosevelt left.

The Varsity shell remained intact and will row unchanged, unless sickness breaks out again, until after the race Saturday and probably even then. The contests will be in New York against Columbia and M.I.T. sometime Saturday afternoon with only the first Varsity going down, leaving the seconds to workout here.
