THROUGH THE YEARS

CRIMSON, APRIL 20, 1885

Bicycle Club--There will be a run to Middlesex Falls next Friday, starting from the University at 2 P.M. The club has adopted a regular cap, and any member can have one ordered for him by leaving the size of his hat at 4 Thayer Hall.

Loud cries of "help" and "fire" were heard issuing from the Law School at 10.30 last night. A party of students hastened to the spot and released a well-known professor who was locked in its awful precincts.

Columbia College traces its origin to a law entitled "An act for raising the sum of two thousand, two hundred and fifty pounds, by a public lottery for this colony, for the encouragement of learning, and for the founding of a college within the same."
