Jack Mason High Scorer for Crimson With Two Baskets, Four Goals

Fighting gamely in a hopeless cause the Varsity cagers went down to defeat before the Green five at Hanover on Saturday by a 37 to 24 score. Jack Mason, one of the Sophomore shock troops playing at forward was Harvard's high scorer with eight points to his credit.

As at New Haven, the Crimson started out strongly, holding even with their powerful opponents for most of the first half, but in the second half Dartmouth went to town, scoring almost at will.

Again the Harvard guards were responsible for much of the team's scoring, both Kollinites and Fletcher tallying six points. However, they were unable to smother Alf Bonniwell so well as before, and he romped about for a total of 11 counters.

A rather forlorn week is in prospect for the Feslermen, as on Wednesday they meet Columbia's League-leading five, the most sensational and fastest shifting team seen in the circuit for some time, and on Friday they encounter Brown which, until its defeat at the hands of the Elis on Saturday, had amassed a total of ten consecutive wins.

The summary: HARVARD  DARTMOUTH Mouser, Lavietes, Stephenson, r.f.  l.f., Bonniwell Mason, l.f.  r.f., Tean, Johnston, Conti Spring, c.  c., McKernan, Cleveland, Anderson Fletcher, r.g.  l.g., Hubbell, Whitaker Kollinites, Robinson, l.g.  r.g., Davis, Parachini
