Emerge Triumphant

The Anglers hooked a victory right from under the trunk of the Elephant yesterday afternoon by winning the basketball contest 14-12. In the second game, the Puritan quintet topped the Deacons 15-7. All seven of the Deacon tallies were sunk by Thomas Robinson '37.

Eliot, Leverett, Win Last Squash Games

Inter-House squash competitions in the A and C Leagues reached a resounding finale yesterday afternoon as Eliot blanked Kirkland, 4-0, and Leverett conquered Winthrop, 4-1. The A League winner, to be determined at a meeting of the managers today, will cross racquets with Yale's champion inter-College squash team next Saturday.

Finley (E) defeated Fox (K), 3-2; Coolidge (E) defeated Clark (K), 3-2; Mason (E) defeated Strobhar (K), 3-1; match between Plumb (E) and Staples (K), postponed; Dane (E) defeated McDonald (K), 3-0.

Leverett vs. Winthrop

The score--Leverett 4, Winthrop 1.

Thorndike (L) defeated Thackara (W), 3-0; Shaw (L) defeated Peet (W), 3-0; Kaltenborn (L) defeated Ross (W), 3-1; King (L) defeated Williams (W), 3-2; Kellogg (W) defeated Kelly (L), by default.

Anglers Out-Swim Gold Coasters by 36-26

A not-to-be-downed Brooks House relay quartet splashed out a hard win over their Adams House opponents to convert a tied swimming meet into a 36-26 triumph for themselves yesterday afternoon. By virtue of their victory, the exultant Angler natators will face Yale's inter-College tank champions next Saturday.
