Atlanta, Ga., Feb. 24--Sen. Huey P. Long, D. La., in a statement tonight said that "Roosevelt stands in the Hoover shoes but even worse bogged down than that great engineer."
He said the prevailing wage amendment to the Works Relief Bill was adopted last week to prevent lowering "the American working man to the status of the Mexican peons."
