BEETHOVEN

Berlin, Feb. 22--Discovery of original manuscripts of Ludwig van Beethoven, some of which would correct current printed versions to conform with the text of the great master, was announced today.

Max Unger, expert on Beethoven data, disclosed that he had found 250 letters and many musical scores written by Beethoven in the possession of a Swiss collector.

The announcement caused a stir in musical circles, especially since the discovery was said to include some unknown works.
