RYAN FOUND GUILTY IN DUNSTER HOUSE CASE

Administrative Board Will Decide on Liability of Others Involved to Disciplinary Action

With the conviction of Bennett Y. Ryan '37, for the assault of Frank Foster, the Dunster House janitor, the formal investigation by the College will get underway this week.

The aim before the Administrative Board when it meets will be to determine whether any of the undergraduates involved are subject to disciplinary action.

As far as the defendants are concerned, they will decide whether Ryan should be expelled and whether George is implicated in the assault to an extent which demands administrative action. The cases of the two chief witnesses, Cedric E. Francis '37 and Royall Victor '38 who tussled with Lawrence will also be discussed.

Ryan, who left college ten days ago, and consequently may avoid official action, will be sentenced December 2 in the East Cambridge District Court by Judge Louis Green.
