FOSTER, BLIND IN ONE EYE, LEAVES HOSPITAL

Nine Students Will Be Summoned Today to Testify in Court on Thursday in East Cambridge

Frank Foster, Dunster House janitor, will leave the Baker Memorial Hospital tomorrow, out of danger, but minus the sight of one eye. At the same time nine summonses will be served on students in the College to appear at the East Cambridge Court on Thursday to testify in the trial which will determine Foster's assailant.

Meanwhile, John J. Canney, chief of the Cambridge police, has been questioning all those, including girls, who were at the cocktail party in Dunster House, in an effort to gather more evidence on the case.

The names of the nine students who will be summoned to court as witnesses were not revealed, but it is understood that they have not as yet been questioned by the police.

Thus the case stands until Thursday, when Bennett Y. Hyan '37 and Eugene H. George '89, both released on bail, will appear in the third district court to race charges.

Foster will be taken care of financially for the rest of his life, it was learned yesterday.
