Hamlon Christons Dudley Hall Center for Commuters

Hanford, Baxter, Samborski, White and Amazeen Speak

In informal operation during the past two weeks a daily patronage of approximately 225 men, the Commuters' Center in Dudley Hall had its formal opening last night with a well-attended Smoker in the lounge. Joseph R. Hamlen '04 gave the christening speech in which he declared the Center formally open, and commended its use to the student audience. Hamlen spoke on behalf of the Graduate Committee in charge of the project.

Following Hamlen in order the speakers were: Poregrine White 2L, Graduates Secretary, who presided for the balance of the evening. Dean A. C. Hanford, A. W. Samborski '26, Instructor in Physical Education, E. S. Amazeen '31, Graduate Secretary at Phillips Brooks-House, and James P. Baxter, Master of Adams House.

Tennis Tourney

In the fall tournament for the tennis championship of the College progress of the lower bracket has proceeded to the semi-finals.
