Adams, Dunster in 0-0 Tie As Kirkland Takes Ramblers

Playing to the last substitute when injuries forced two of their regulars out of the game, the Adams gridsters battled the Dunster team to a scoreless tie in a drab, uninteresting game yesterday.

A charley horse removed Grant Wesner '36, plunging fullback for the Gold-Coasters, from action in the third period. Roy E. Burns '36 garnered a knee injury which caused his retirement and left the Adams coach, Don L. Hassenfratz 2L, alone on the sidelines.

Neither team threatened to score. Dunster House held the edge on the offensive play, making several first downs on tricky line plays. Edward B. Simmons '37 at left tackle for Dunster, put a considerable crimp in the Adams House offensive, and the Adams line, as usual, repelled the Dunster invasions before their goal was in danger.

In the second half of yesterday's double feature, Kirkland won handily from the Ramblers, 12-0. The two scores in the unofficial game were made by Richard E. Alger '36 and George T. Cushman '37.

Cushman scored when he intercepted a pass and ran 60 yards through the Ramblers to put the game in the bag. The contest was marked by long passes on both sides and several long runs.
