Thirty-four students, have been awarded scholarships by the Harvard Clubs of their home towns according to announcement by the University yesterday. The awards total $14,310.
Of the 34 recipients, 32 are members of the Freshman class, one a Sophomore, and one a Junior. The scholarship holders come from fourteen states and the District of Columbia.
Leading the list of clubs in number of scholarships awarded is the Harvard Club of Chicago, with four. Three scholarships were awarded by the Harvard Club of New Jersey; two each by the Associated Harvard Clubs, the Harvard Clubs of Buffalo, Cincinnati, Cleveland, New York City, Philadelphia, and St. Louis; and one each by thirteen other Harvard Clubs.
