Lowell House took its second loss of the season yesterday to the tune of 33-0 as the Eelephants romped all over the field scoring at will. At the same time Adams House was nosing out Kirkland in the closest game of the season.
Edward D. Fullerton, Jr. '37 was individual star of the game and personally accounted for four of the Elephant tallies. Another eight points was added to the Eliot total by a touchdown and two kicks by William W. Waters '37. The other point was made by Carl R. Comstock '36.
After defeats at the hands of Kirkland and Dunster, the Eliot team found itself yesterday for the first time. Interference was clicking and the pass throwers were able to take advantage of receivers who had found their way into the clear.
A blocked kick which rolled into the end zone and gave Adams an automatic safety was the only score in a sloppy game between the Goldcoasters and the Kirkland eleven yesterday afternoon.
Neither team had a real offense although Adams was the better of the two and managed to maneuver into scoring territory early in the game. The team was held, however, within the 15-yard line.
The Adams victory dissolved the triple tie for third place while Kirkland's downfall left only Winthrop in the undefeated column. Lowell and Eliot went into a tie for fifth place as a result of yesterday's game.
