The announcement of ten football dances in the Houses, will probably solve the post-game entertainment problems for most undergraduates. The varied programs to be presented will include tea dances, supper dances and one formal.
Adams to Hold Five Dances
Continuing a successful custom of offering short dances after the games, the Gold Coasters will give a tea dance after the Holy Cross game on October 12, following with similar affairs after the Dartmouth, New Hampshire and Yale games. Admissions will be $.25; the dances will last from 5.30 till 7 o'clock.
A formal affair in the same house is tentatively scheduled for the night of the Brown game on November 2.
Innovation by Dunster House
Dunster House registers an innovation for its buffet supper dance, to be given in conflict with the affairs of three other houses after the Dartmouth game, October 26. The revelry, from 5.30 to 8.30 o'clock, will be open to all undergraduates, and all members of the other houses will, for the first time, be able to sign not only the regular interhouse slips, but also interhouse guest slips for their escorts. The price of the dance is $.75 for stag or couple.
Formal at Leverett After Dartmouth
The annual fall formal at Leverett House will be held on October 26, according to an announcement by Robert H. Rawson, Chairman of the House Committee. A dinner will precede the dance, which will last from 9 till 12 o'clock. Further plans will be made public next week by the dance committee, whose chairman is Harold E. Jahn '36. Bellboys to Present
Lowell House will initiate its social season on the same Saturday, with a dinner dance. The committee, headed by George B. Lauriat '36, has promised that the party will be as elaborate as all Lowell House dances in the past.

Puritans Compete in Revelry

Thomas G. Curtis '36, has been chosen chairman of the committee in charge of the arrangements. Other members of the committee are William J. Barker '36, Herbert W. Horn '37, Chester W. MacArthur '37, and David N. Pabst '36.
