Faced by a long train ride and a late afternoon game on a strange field the Varsity soccer team leaves this morning for West Point, where a strong Army corps is entrenched to meet it.
Though his charges have won their first two engagements, Coach Carr is wary of today's results. Combined with the undeveloped potentialities of his own team is the speed and power of a veteran Cadet aggregation eager to avenge its last two defeats.
With the gaining of experience and the emergence of individual abilities the Crimson has made notable strides during the past two weeks.
Captain Dorman, Frank Vincent, and Leon Manheimer are meeting the mule for the third time, while Jim Wood and Bob Holcombe were also in the last year's lineups. But today it is the play of Carr's six other booters, under major fire for the first time, that will determine the outcome.
