THE CRIMSON PLAYGOER

"No Greater Glory" a Good Children's Picture--Good Songs in Second Movie

"No Greater Glory," an adaptation of one of Ferenc Moluar's plays, has deservedly been hailed as the best children's picture of the year. Unlike-most, Hollywood attempts to amuse the kiddies it has a certain "universal appeal" which makes it good entertainment for sentimentalists of all ages.

The rivalry of two gangs of Viennese schoolboys for the possession of a lumber yard forms the background of the story, which moves smoothly through the usual series of incidents to a powerful though somewhat everdone conclusion.

These who think that a few good songs, some attractive females, a few feeble comedians and a handsome here spell a good movie will enjoy "20 Million Sweethearts." "I'll String Along With You," "It's Getting Fair and Warmer" are lilting melodies as jazz songs go but their popularity has detracted lots from their appeal. Bill Powell is fairly good singing "The Man on the Flying Trapeze" with dusted lyrics. Ginger Rogers is, we believe, sufficient excuse for seeing the film.
