CRIMSON, May 10, 1884

The Yale freshmen have decided (?) that they will not play Harvard '87 unless the game is played at New Haven on May 24th. Yale men are much dissatisfied with the 'freshman nine. Is it a "crawl"?

The diamond on Holmes Field has been sodded, but it is doubtful if it can be used this year.

Columbia College is to introduce the new feature of a "School of Literary Economy," in which students may qualify themselves to discharge the duties of librarians.

An order for $16 worth of livery hire at Pike's livery, will be sold for $12.00.--A. A. Waterman.

It will be well to remember that some little cheering must be done this afternoon; undergraduates will accordingly see to it that their vocal strength is not too severely overtaxed at the crew race.

The work of completing the new Stadium which is now being carried forward under the supervision of Professor I. N. Hollis will follow in general the plans of the original design. The work, which will not be complete until the first part of August, will be temporarily discontinued during Class Day week.
