Rosebud Gardens, 8 Bedford Street--$.30-.35-.35. $1.00 minimum charge. No cover. Pleasant place with a certain air of surreptitious intimacy; fine stuff for those who go in for rendezvous. Good food. Orchestra apes Lombarde.

Broadway $.30-.40-.35. $1.50 minimum. No cover. Sammy Liner's orchestra. Long floor show with Martin and Nixon. Rodney Ney, Ronnie Poe. The old May-fair; good place if one likes the cabaret atmosphere and would rather watch a floor show than dance. Mixed crowd. Dress optional.

Stenben's $.30-.35-.40. No cover. No minimum. Jack Fisher's orchestra. Mediocre orchestra and good, moderately priced food. Nice place for an after-the-theatre supper. Not for the Big Date. Don't dress.
