International Industrialists Call for Stabilization

Washington, March 25--Sixteen internationally-known bankers and industrialists appealed to all the governments tonight, through the International Chamber of Commerce, to stabilize currencies. The appeal came as rumors grew that France and Switzerland might have to abandon the gold standard.

The signers of the resolution, headed by Georges Theunis, former Prime Minister of Belgium and Regent of the National Bank of Belgium, said that now was "a particularly propitious time" for stabilization.
