The Edward Warren Law Club has qualified for the semi-final round of the Ames Competition by defeating the Pitney Club in the last of the quarter-final matches held at Langdell Hall.
By virtue of this victory the Warren Club joins the Pollock, Wilson, and Story Clubs in the semi-final bracket.
These teams will not meet until next November.
Skillful arguing by Robert C. Bassett 2L and James W. Havinghurst 2L of the Warren Club was responsible for the victory. The losers were represented by Frederick W. Doolittle, Jr., 2L and Allen O. Eaton 2L. Dean Roscoe Pound '90 acted as presiding justice. The associate justices were Judge Franklin T. Hammond '92 and Judge John J. Burns, both of the Superior Court of Massachusetts.
